How to Receive Stock into a Bin

In this video, we will learn how to manage and record stock in bin locations. Follow the steps below:
From the top of your screen, click on Tools.
Go to Manage Lists in the dropdown menu and click on Location Bins.
Select the location you'd like to create a bin for.
Click on Manage Location Bins.
Here, you can see a list of all the bins that already exist in this location.
To create a new bin, simply add your new bin name in the Bin Number field above the list.
You can also select a zone type and add a description if you'd like.
Click on the Add button and our new bin will show up in the list below.
Go back to the Receiving register and receive a purchase order into the bin we just created.
Open the purchase order.
Enter the quantity that we are receiving by clicking into the Quantity field. In this case, we are receiving 100 units.
Ensure that the correct location has been selected in the Receive To field.
Click on the Bin field and select the bin from the dropdown and then press Enter.
Click on the Record Stock button at the bottom right to finish receiving this purchase order.
If we navigate to the item that we just received, we should be able to see the units allocated to the bin we created.
